Distance Reiki: how a remote session actually works
"Can distance Reiki actually work?" It's an honest question, and it deserves an honest answer. Here's how I work remotely, and what you can expect — no overselling.
The idea, simply
Reiki is a hands-on wellbeing practice where the practitioner supports relaxation and the flow of energy. At a distance, physical touch is replaced by focused intention while you settle comfortably at home. Many people describe deep relaxation; every session is different, and I don't promise a specific outcome.
How a remote session goes
- We connect by video for a few minutes: your intention for the session, your questions.
- You settle lying down or seated, somewhere quiet and undisturbed, for about 60 minutes.
- I lead the session at the agreed time. There's nothing for you to "do" — just let go.
- We talk briefly afterwards, if you'd like.
How to prepare
A quiet spot, comfortable clothes, your phone on silent, a blanket. That's it. Try not to schedule a meeting right after — leave yourself a moment.
Honestly, is it "as good" as in person?
They're different. In person offers the setting and touch; distance offers accessibility — you stay home, wherever you are, in your language. Many people alternate. It's up to what suits you.
